Da Nang

Da Nang is central Vietnam's craft beer hub. The city gave its name to two of the country's best-known brewers: 7 Bridges takes its name from the bridges over the Han River, and 5 Elements brews its Bia Ngu Hanh range here, pouring it at the Brewhaha taprooms. Bia Nha Brewhouse adds a local, award-winning line-up at friendly prices, and East West Brewing runs a big beachfront taproom on My Khe Beach.

The scene splits neatly in two. Hai Chau, on the west bank of the Han River, has the city-centre taprooms and riverside terraces, while the beach side across the river (Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son, around An Thuong) has ocean-view breweries and expat-friendly craft pubs a short walk from the sand. Most venues open from late afternoon until around midnight or later, and this directory is updated daily as the scene changes.
