Hoi An

Hoi An is better known for lanterns, tailors and riverside cafes than beer, but the UNESCO-listed Old Town has a small and growing craft beer scene. Da Nang's 7 Bridges Brewing Co runs a taproom in a classic yellow shophouse on Tran Phu, with a leafy beer garden out back, and beers from Da Nang breweries like 5 Elements and Bia Nha turn up on taps and in fridges around town.

Most craft beer drinking here happens in and around the Old Town, where an evening pint fits neatly between dinner and a walk along the Thu Bon River. The scene is compact, so it pairs well with a night or two in Da Nang, 45 minutes up the coast. This directory is updated daily as new bars open.
