Production brewery in Caotun, Nantou, Taiwan, founded in 2014, known for hoppy IPAs and beers made with local produce, and a contract brewer for other Taiwanese brands.
Tsai's Brewing (in Chinese, Cai Shi Niang Jiu, also known as Tsai's Actual Brewing) was founded in 2014 by Tsai Hsiao-wei, with backing from his father, Tsai Chao-yang, chairman of the Swancor group. The brewery sits in Caotun, Nantou, and Business Today reported in 2025 that land, plant and equipment cost around NT$200 million. Since 2022 it has also brewed for other brands, and contract work now makes up more than 70% of revenue, with Flow Brewing among its clients. Its own range takes inspiration from Nantou's mountains and farm produce, such as maqaw mountain pepper and smoked plum. Tsai's Golden Ale won silver at the Berlin International Beer Competition in 2018 and bronze at the International Beer Cup in Japan the same year.
