New Gentry Beerhouse has been pouring craft beer on Hàng Mành since 2015, with a rotating list that leans heavily Vietnamese — Hanoi Cider Co., Barett, Thơm Brewery and 7Bridges all show up alongside Saigon names like Fuzzy Logic.
The room is unfussy and sociable: retro beer posters on brick walls, table seating, and a printed beer list that reads like a tour of the country's homegrown breweries.
