Content

Craft Beer Go Where grows every week. This round-up covers the 15 bars, brewpubs and taprooms we added between mid-September and early October 2026. A few have only just opened; others are long-running locals that are new to our pages. They are grouped by city, in no particular order.

Bangkok and Chiang Mai lead the way this month, with ten additions between them, plus new pages in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi and Okinawa.

Bangkok and Nonthaburi

Radicle Beer Company, On Nut

A two-storey warehouse brewpub down Soi On Nut 21, opened in early 2025 by a team with a background in fermentation science. House beers share the taps with Thai craft names, and the kitchen's smoked and fermented dishes are a reason to visit on their own. Radicle hosts Sandport Lager Fest on 10 October.

Isara Pub & Brewery, Khlong San

A neighbourhood pub in a converted wooden house behind ICONSIAM that began brewing its own British-leaning ales about a year after opening. Expect English pales, an Irish red and fruited wheats alongside a mostly Thai guest list.

Brewave Expedition, Bang Khae

The original Brewave warehouse, opened in 2022, where the brand's brewhouse sits in full view of the dining room. Twelve rotating taps, a Thai-Western kitchen and easy parking make it a good stop on the western side of the city.

Rinrimnam Brewery, Nonthaburi

A rooftop brewpub six floors above the Chao Phraya, with around 30 taps and river views towards the Maha Jessada Bridge. Its house witbier won its category at Meraya Thailand 2025. Sunset is the time to go.

Devanom Taproom, Pak Kret

The home of Devanom, whose founders also run Thailand's first hop farm. Try the IPAs made with Thai-grown hops, plus lychee mead and sato, the traditional rice drink given a craft treatment.

Chiang Mai

Sucking Stones Brewing Co., Nimman

A working brewery in the Nimman strip since October 2024, with the tanks right behind the bar and a tap list that follows whatever is freshly brewed. Order a flight.

The Tasting Room by Cold Chain Craft, Pa Daet

A dark, lounge-style room for Cold Chain Craft's unpasteurised house beers, served very cold. Walk-ins are limited to Thursday evenings, so check before you go.

The Grumpy Old Men: My Beer Friend Taproom, Night Bazaar

My Beer Friend's smaller, regulars-first taproom opposite the Shangri-La, pouring house brews and rotating guests with plenty of beer chat from the owner.

Number 1 Cafe Bistro, Loi Kroh

A relaxed European-style pub on a lantern-lit soi, known for one of northern Thailand's widest Belgian beer selections.

Renegade Craft Beer & Ciders, Old Town

A long-standing sports bar near Thapae Gate with a fridge wall of more than 300 craft beers and ciders, plus cheap pool.

Singapore

Komuniti Cats, Esplanade

The newest bar from the team behind Locality Craft Beers and AfterJourney, with a covered terrace on the Esplanade waterfront. Taps lean towards Singapore's independent breweries, with regional guests to come.

Kuala Lumpur

WellCraft, Desa Sri Hartamas

A do-it-all neighbourhood bar with 300+ international beers, Neapolitan pizza, Mexican plates, a pool table and, unusually, an in-house barber.

Hanoi

New Gentry Beerhouse, Old Quarter

A cafe-style beerhouse pouring since 2015, with one of the city's broadest lists of Vietnamese craft beer and cider.

Craft Beer Pub, Old Quarter

A Hang Buom fixture with pavement seating, sport on the screens and a mix of local craft and imported bottles.

Okinawa

Ukishima Brewing Taproom, Naha

Naha's own small-batch brewery, up a flight of stairs in an old market building off Kokusai Street. It pours only its own beer, including brews made with Okinawan island barley and heirloom rice. This is also our first listing in Okinawa.
