Craft Beer Go Where adds new venues every week. This round-up covers some of the bars, brewpubs and taprooms added between early October and the first days of November 2026. Several are brand-new openings; others are long-running favourites that are new to our pages. They are grouped by country and city, in no particular order, and every description comes from the venue's own information as listed in the guide.
Japan and China lead the month, with Kyoto getting a particularly strong run of new pages, alongside additions in South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
Japan
Kyoto
Crafthouse Kyoto is a century-old Showa-era machiya near Shichijo, reborn as a stylish taphouse with a dozen Kyoto and Kansai craft beers along an eight-metre wooden counter.
Kyoto Beer Lab is a small brewpub by the Takase River in Shichijo. It brews its own beers with Wazuka tea and adds rotating Kyoto and Japanese guest taps.
Spring Valley Brewery Kyoto is Kirin's brewpub inside a century-old machiya, brewing Kyoto-only beers a short stroll from Nishiki Market.
ICHI-YA is the Kawaramachi taproom of tiny Ichijoji Brewery, pairing its small-batch Kyoto beers with Italian draughts and a chef-driven Italian kitchen. Also new is the Kyoto Brewing Co. Taproom.
Okinawa, Nagoya and Sendai
MAHOWBREW is an award-winning brewpub in Naha's Tsuboya pottery district, with 15 taps of house beer brewed behind glass since 2024. Nearby, Ukishima Brewing Taproom pours eight house taps on the third floor of an old market building just off Kokusai Street, and Chatan Harbor Brewery & Restaurant adds a brewery-restaurant option.
In Nagoya, see Tall Boys Brewing Taproom and Beer Pub Brick Lane. In Sendai, Batsuji Brewing and Great Dane Brewing Akiu are new.
China
In Beijing, Jing-A Brewing's 798 Taproom has 24 taps of house beers, high ceilings and the brewery's first rooftop bar. Slow Boat Brewery's Sanlitun brewpub has been open since 2016, brewing on site and serving Monkey Fist IPA over three floors.
In Shanghai, Mingri Brewing Taproom sits on Xinzha Road by the Suzhou River and is known for its Hazy Dream NEIPA and fruit goses. ASK Craft Beer Taproom, near People's Square, pours 19 taps of independent craft beer until 2am daily.
In Guangzhou, Jumpwire Craft Beer is a taproom and cultural space in a Lingnan heritage house in Fenyangli, pairing craft beer with films, live music and community nights.
South Korea
Busan has a cluster of new pages. Wildcat Brewing Co. is a Seomyeon taproom where the bar looks straight onto the brewhouse tanks, pouring house lagers and hazy IPAs. Craft Hans Seomyeon is a brick-walled pub that pairs Craft Hans' own fruity and wheat beers with fried chicken. Gorilla Haeundae is the laid-back evening taproom in U-dong from Gorilla Brewing. On Jeju, Magpie Brewing's Tapdong bar has poured house beers by the sea since 2014.
Taiwan, Philippines and Hong Kong
In Tainan, Taihu Brewing runs a spacious all-day taproom and restaurant on Ximen Road, with pizzas from an Italian oven.
Manila's new pages include Engkanto Taps in BGC, the brewery's flagship taproom in Forbes Town, and Palm Tree Abbey, a small Makati brewpub brewing Belgian-style beers, sours and saisons inside the Comuna creative compound.
In Hong Kong, Young Master Central pours 10 taps of fresh Hong Kong-brewed beer inside BaseHall 01 at Jardine House, and Second Draft & Friends is a Causeway Bay gastropub with 22 rotating taps of mostly Hong Kong craft beer and a terrace on Fashion Walk. Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia
SWIG Craft Beer Bar is a no-fuss new bar on level 2 of Fortune Centre near Bugis, opening on 31 October 2026.
In Bangkok, Underdog Microbrewery's Food Stock taproom opened in May 2026 inside the Food Stock dining hub on Pattanakarn Road.
In Saigon, Steersman Taproom is the brewery's own taproom in Binh Thanh, pouring house ales and fruity hard sodas under a nautical-themed roof.
In Kuala Lumpur, 242 by PaperKite is the brewery's sky-high tap room on Level 50 of Conlay by E&O, with skyline views.
